She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Mello and Rita Costa Mello (Gaumond); and her sister Diane Tassoni. She is survived by: her husband Edward McHugh; her children, Cheryl Tondreau, Donna Tomaselli and Edward P. McHugh, Jr. of Warwick; her siblings, Antonio Mello of Greenville, Sandra Tiernan of Cranston and Gerald Mello of Warwick; her grandchildren, Matthew Tondreau (Amy), Jeannine Stark (Nick), Michael Tomaselli, Joseph Tomaselli and Crystal Freeman (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Heaven, Phoenix and Lane Freeman.
