He was predeceased by: his parent Francis J. McLellan; and his sibling Paul S. McLellan. He is survived by: his parent Doris McLellan (Bondarev); his siblings, Frank J. McLellan (Phyllis), Kathryn I. Cicchetti (Charles) and Teresa A. Karn (Scott); and his nieces and nephews, Laura, Andrew, Emily, Heather, Christopher, Michaela and Jeanette.
