He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl H. Sr and Gertrude L. Godfrey, Sr. (Banks); and his sibling Earl H. Godfrey, Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Jiggets, Gertrude A. Calhoun and Lorraine D. Jimenez; his niece Tiondra D. Martinez (Guinyard); and his siblings, Gregory A. Godfrey and John E. Godfrey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
