He was predeceased by: his parent William E. Alpaio. He is survived by: his spouse Cynthia Alpaio (Mann); his parent Olga Alpaio (Grosso); and his siblings, Jeannette Pislowski and Mary Ann Lynch. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
