It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Owen Keenan of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Keenan (Proulx); and his parents, Michael Joseph and Mary Alice (Hanrahan). He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Keenan Jr. of Cumberland, Ann Curry (Bill) of Cumberland and Mary Ellen Zuba; his sibling-in-law Walt of Pawtucket; and his brother Jim Keenan (Lois) of Cumberland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Because of COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of all, services will be held in accordance with State of Rhode Island guidelines for funeral services and graveside services.
