It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph F. Nield Jr. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his aunts, Susan Mooney and Lynda Nield. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph F. Nield and Karen A. Nield (Mooney); his grandmothers, Eunice Nield of Lincoln and Allie Nield of New Jersey; his aunts and uncles, Steven of Cumberland, Joyce Mooney of Cumberland, Linda of Cumberland, Dennis Malloy III of Cumberland, Karen of Cumberland and Michael Kinch of Cumberland; his siblings, Michael, Tyler Kinch, Mackenzie, Mary, Dennis Malloy IV, Steven Mooney, Mason, Taylor Mooney, Garrett, Craig and Jimmy Riel; and his grandparents, Gerald, Joan Mooney and Joseph G. Nield Jr.. He is also survived by many extended family members and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A prayer will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Joey's life and generous spirit, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the New England Donor Services, 60 First Avenue Waltham, MA 02451-1106.
