He is survived by: his mother Herminia Tavares (Silva); his daughters, Abigail Tavares of Cumberland and Hannah Tavares of Cumberland; his siblings, Arnold Tavares (Filomena) of Seekonk and Hermano E. Tavares (Linda) of East Providence; and his siblings' children, Laura Covello, Katie Tavares and Erick Tavares.
