He was predeceased by: his parent Joaquim Gomes. He is survived by: his spouse Lucilia C. Gomes (Albuquerque); his parent Emilia; his children, Graciete Medeiros (Robert), Emily Albuquerque Gomes, John Gomes and Lucille Avelar (Frank); his grandchildren, Bobby, Jessica, Jacqueline, John Reiner, Zach, Jack, Gabriel and Lucas; and his siblings, Joao, Secundina and Alexandrina Gomes.
