She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Farrell and Rubye Farrell (Hayes); her brothers, Frank and David; and her former husband Thomas H. Dempster.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ann (Gil Sandberg) and Kathleen (Andrew Czarnecki); and her siblings' children, Martha Emma (Steven) of Providence, RI, Susan Dempster (Jerry Doughty) of Vinalhaven, Peter Dempster of Webster, MA, Kathleen Clements (Michael) of Exeter, RI, Elizabeth Dempster (David Jeffrey) of Lincoln, RI and Rebecca Tremblay (Alain) of Simsbury, CT.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Marie asked that donations be made to Vinalhaven Eldercare Services, PO Boxes 624 Vinalhaven ME 04863.
