The passing of Miquelina Neves of Cumberland, Rhode Island leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 98. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquim Amaral and Maria Amaral (Barboza); her husband Manual Neves; and her sister Margaret Amaral. She is survived by: her son Carlos Neves (Jean) of Cumberland; her granddaughters, Lindsey Baillargeron (Justin) of Cumberland and Amanda Harris (Tim) of Grafton, MA; and her great grandchildren, Luke Lydia and Logan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1 Fatima Dr, Cumberland, RI 02864).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Fatima church and the Cumberland Lincoln Lions club.
