She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Pierne Sr. and Yolanda Pierne (Fuscaldo) of Norwalk, CT.; her brother John P. Pierne Jr.; her sister-in-law Pamela Pierne; and her nephew Patrick R. Pierne of Shelton, CT..

She is survived by: her sibling's children, John P. Pierne III, Cheryl Brennan (Pierne) of Old Saybrook, CT and Lisa Grosso (Pierne) of Fairfield, CT.; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan P. Brennan, Meghan C. Brennan, Alyssa M. Pierne, Shannon K. Brennan, Ashley T Grosso and John P Grosso, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to a local animal rescue or St. Francis de Sales Church.
