She was predeceased by : her siblings, Theresa Roy (Terry), Wilfred Jr. (Bill), Bernard (Bernie) and Charles (Charlie). She is survived by : her parents, Wilfred Messier and Lucille Messier (DesRochers); her children, Alan Ringuette (MeLissa), Marie Robertson (Tim) and Glen Ringuette; her grandchildren, Kelly Robertson, John William Ringuette, Alan Robertson, Lukas, Brody Ringuette, Aimée Grace Robertson, Madeline Belle, Wyatt, Mimi and Jakin Ringuette; her uncle Glen (Ringuette); her grandson John William (JW); her aunt Gert; and also Gert. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hill Funeral Home (822 Main St, East Greenwich, RI 02818). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Church (1025 Main St, East Greenwich, RI 02818). She missed just one holiday in 2020 due to covid and vowed "NEVER AGAIN, I WILL ALWAYS see my grandchildren.".

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Health Hospice who helped Trudy and her family.
