He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zito and Louisa Zito (Barbuscio); and his siblings, Joseph Zito, Louis Zito and Mary Zito Curti.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Zito (Filipe); his son Mark Zito; his daughter-in-law Ermelinda C. Zito of East Providence; his grandchildren, Gian C. Zito and Luke C. Zito (Regina); his great grandchildren, Siena C. Zito and Olivia C. Zito; and his sister Julia Zito Tamburrino.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Loreto Church (346 Waterman Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A committal service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
