He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Machado and Elvira Machado (Furtado); his former wife Anne Machado (Holt); his grandson Brian O'Kane; and his siblings, Manuel Machado, Joseph Machado and Agnes Furtado.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Machado (Vigliotti); his children, Robert Machado, Lucinda Machado of Providence and Margaret O'Brien (Ed) of East Providence; his stepdaughter Dolores Izzi (Steve) of Johnston; his grandchildren, Jodie Howe, Lynn Christopher and Alaina Izzi; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Robbie, Emily, Ella Corinne, Wyatt, Talia and Cora; and his sister Mary Machado of East Providence.
