She was predeceased by : her parents, Manuel A. Braga and Maria B. Braga of East Providence. She is survived by : her children, Jonathan, Julia Medina of Seekonk and Jenna Medina of Los Angeles; her former life partner Michael Medina of Seekonk; her nieces and nephews, Sophia Braga of Phoenix, Sara Kroft, Joshua Braga of Omaha, Breelyn and Jamison Braga of East Providence; and her brothers, Joseph Braga (Lynn) of Omaha and John Braga (Melissa) of East Providence.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions can be made to assist with Maria's medical expenses.
