We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, Thomas M. Rattigan of East Providence, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Thomas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Thomas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Mary Rattigan, Sr. (Martin); and his brother John A. Rattigan, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Rattigan (Vierra); his sons, David Luiz (Julie Harringtron) of East Providence and Adam T. Rattigan of East Providence; his grandchildren, Peyton Luiz, Adam Rattigan, Jr., Noah H. Luiz and Sammi Rattigan; and his brother James Rattigan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Church (21 Traverse St, Providence, RI 02903). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
