He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ivo DePina, Antero DePina, Ildo Depina, Paulina DePina and Jose DePina; and his stepson Manuel Dias.
He is survived by: his wife Maria L. Pina; his siblings, Rosa DePina, Beatriz DePina, Lala DePina, Custodio DePina and Vely DePina; his stepchildren, Jose Roque Leite (Claudina), Ana Paula Akbar (Fuad), Pedro Cesar Leite and Elisa DePina; his grandchildren, Jennifer DaRosa, Jose Roque Jr., Dealcelina Pina, Ismenia Benoliel, Luis Fontes, Daiana DePina and Ania Varela; and his great grandchildren, Aymar Fonseca, William De Barros and Denzel DePina.
