He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris C. Reed and Ellen L. Reed (Johnstone); and his siblings, James Reed, Robert Reed, David Reed and Carol Tew.
He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Reed (Stedman); and his sons, S. Brett Reed, Richard R. Reed and Eric J. Reed. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
