He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Melanie Mimande (Reid); his parents, Marie Rose Mimande (Marcotte) and Thomas Henry Mimande; his children, Kevin Mimande (Melanie Jones Mimande) of Johnston, Alan Mimande of Johnston and Trudy Greene of Tennessee; his stepchildren, Cheryl Heroux of Foster, Elisa Reid of Putnam, Connecticut and Gordon Reid of Burrillville; and his siblings, Theresa McCaughey of Warwick, David Mimande (Fatima) of West Warwick, Ernest Mimande (Diane) of Warwick, Edward and Thomas. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
