She was predeceased by : her parents, Ellsworth Garrity and Bertha Garrity (Kimball); and her brother Ellsworth "Chuck" Garrity, Jr.. She is survived by : her spouse Stacey G. Swift; her sons, David Swift (Carolyn Duby) of Westport, MA and Paul Swift of Putnam, CT.; her grandsons, Carson Swift of Boston, MA and Andrew Swift of Westport, MA.; and her brothers, Maurice G. Garrity of Bradenton, FL. and Allen Garrity.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Episcopal Charities, 275 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02903.
