With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aphrodite Fisher of Greenville, Rhode Island, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert J. Fisher; her son Robert W. Fisher; her parents, George Faggas and Polexini Faggas (Kokanakis); her siblings, Helen Ward, Charles Faggas and Nicholas Faggas; her siblings-in-law, Ann Marie Faggas, James Ward and Mary Faggas; her siblings' children, George Ward (Brenda), Paula Meidanis (Bobby), Dorothy Powers (Mike), George Faggas (Rose), James Ward (Natalie), Adrianne Faggas (Tim), Nicholas Faggas Jr., Marcine Logue (Dave), Christopher Faggas, James Faggas, Alexandra Tsavalakoglou and Robert Ward; and her friends, Pat Fleming (Howard), Gerry Winn and Charlie Fisher.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Faggas Funeral Home (551 Mt Auburn St, Watertown, MA 02472). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Taxiarchae Greek Church (25 Bigelow Ave, Watertown, MA 02472). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (959 Nooseneck Hill Rd, West Greenwich, RI 02817).
