He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Ethier and Amanda Ethier (Fortin). He is survived by: his spouse Sieglinde "Linda" Ethier (Bellmann); his children, Ulrike "Rike" Murphy and Robert E. Ethier; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Sean Murphy, Selah and Jamarie Ethier.
