He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Tretton (Wallace); his sons, John James Tretton III (Diane) of Marco Island, FL and Scott T. Tretton (Amy) of Richmond, RI.; his grandchildren, John, Philip (Liz), Allison, Lindsay, Gabrielle, Gianna and Anna; his great grandchildren, Jameson and Magnolia; and his brother David Tretton (Mary) of New Hampshire.
