It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabel Gifford of Hope, Rhode Island, born in Qulin, Missouri, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Deken and Anna M. Deken (Peters); and her siblings, Louis, William, Fred, Hugo, John Deken, Annabel Connors (Deken) and Mabel Elam (Deken).
She is survived by: her husband Ernest F. Gifford; her children, Kathleen L. Langlais (Dale) of Mercer, ME, Michael E. Gifford (Paula) of Chester, CT, Brian D. Gifford (Lynn) of Springfield, VA, Cynthia A. Chatell of Scituate, RI and Lynn G. Fuerst (Stephan) of Warwick, RI.; and her grandchildren, Joshua J. Chatell, Kimberly A. Burton, Kelly E. Gifford, Daniel H. Langlais, Steven D. Gifford and Natalie I. Fuerst. She is also survived by five children.
