He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burghardt and Evelyn Burghardt (Wilks); and his son John P. Burghardt. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Burghardt (Laliberte); and his siblings, Beverly Luchka of Scituate, William Burqhardt of East Providence and Robert Burghardt of North Providence.
