It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie (Cardone) Cornell in Johnston, Rhode Island, born in East Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son John B. Cornell Jr.; her parents, Donato Cardone and Sabatina Cardone (Zaccagnino); and her siblings, Ralph Cardone, Anthony Cardone, Rose Cardone, Angela Haber, Frank Cardone and John Cardone.
She is survived by: her daughter Christine Desmarais (James) of Warwick; and her grandchildren, James, Michael, Timothy, Kimberly, John III and Crystal.
