He was predeceased by: his wife Yvette M. Gauvin (Jutras); his parents, Alfred N. Gauvin and Louise Gauvin (Bazinet); and his sister Theresa Bellmore. He is survived by: his children, Dolores J. Conway, Denise Y. Legare, Janine M. Landry, Maurice R. Gauvin, Paul H. Gauvin, Gene L. Gauvin, Ernest A. Gauvin and Joseph R. Gauvin; and his brothers, Joseph "Pete" and Charles Gauvin. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
