Gaetano Lasorsa Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gaetano Lasorsa Jr. of Lincoln, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gaetano is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gaetano's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara L. Lasorsa (Izzard); and his parents, Gaetano Lasorsa and Prudence Lasorsa (Papparelli). He is survived by: his children, Michael Lasorsa, Thomas Lasorsa (Mary Ann), Susan Andreacchio (Thomas), Guy E. Lasorsa (Lisa), Richard Lasorsa (Kristen), Patricia DiMascio and Elizabeth Lasorsa.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI 02904).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Guy's memory to the St. Edward Food and Wellness Center, 1001 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI 02904.
