She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Murphy and Ruth Murphy (Culliton); her husband John J. Flynn, III; her children, Gregory C. Flynn and Mary Louise Flynn; and her siblings, Janice M. Flynn (Murphy), Ruth Jameson (Murphy), Robert Murphy, Thomas Murphy and Lawrence Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Anderson, John J. Flynn IV (Mary Speare), Andrea Hartnett (Jack), Christopher Flynn, Elizabeth Flynn (Milenko Ralich), Peter Flynn (Laura Lafontaine) and Ruth Donahue (Mark); her daughter-in-law Joan Garrity Flynn; and her siblings, Marilyn McClean (Murphy) and Peter Murphy. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.
A wake will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joyce Funeral Home (245 Main St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Julia Church (374 Boston Post Rd, Weston, MA 02493). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (250 High St, Waltham, MA 02453).
