With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Lawler Jr. of Narragansett, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawler and Edna Barth Lawler. He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his daughters, Jill and Susan (Carl); and his grandchildren, Max (Mallory) and Laura (Brent).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home (88 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI 02879). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (864 Point Judith Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882).
