She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald and Mary V. Kingsbury (Mitchell); her siblings, Shirley Quinn, Isabel Bazinet, William Kingsbury and Arlene Murray; her children, Joanne Partington and James Rourke (Keri); and her husband Louis De Costa. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
