She was predeceased by: her husband Simon Chapkounian, Sr.; her parents, Albert Zarifian and Sophie Zarifian (Leylegian); her son Simon Chapkounian, Jr.; and her siblings, George Zarifian (Joan) and Sgt. Hajop "Jack" Zarifian.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Ayers (late Anthony), Gary Chapkounian and Jack Chapkounian (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Michael (Deanna), Marissa, Simon Jack and Rosey; and her sister Louise Goorhigian (Martin).
