She was predeceased by: her spouse Raymond T. Hoyas, Sr.; her parent Eric R. Nordquist, Sr.; her daughter Kathleen A. Hoyas; and her sibling Eileen Williamson. She is survived by: her parent Sarah Nordquist (Murphy); her children, Raymond "Chip" Hoyas of Pawtucket, Chuck Hoyas of Loveland, Beth Ann Lovain (Tim) of Alexandria and Rae Ann McGowan of Cranston; her grandchildren, William McGowan, Thomas McGowan (Stephanie), Daniel McGowan, Christopher Hoyas, Samantha Hoyas, Isabella Lovain, Kathleen Lovain and Ava Lovain; her great grandchildren, Thomas McGowan, Talen McGowan, Arianna McGowan and Dryden McGowan; her nieces and nephews, Daughters of Her Heart, Genevieve Foley of Pawtucket and Kathleen Foley O'Brien of Norwich, CT; her children, James O'Brien, Matthew O'Brien and Kara Anastasiou; and her siblings, Shirley Russell and Eric Nordquist, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Kathleen Hoyas Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket would be appreciated.
