He was predeceased by: his parent David E. Blake; his child Nick Blake; and his sibling David Blake. He is survived by: his spouse Susan A. Blake (Bejma); his parent Marie Ida Blake (Poirier); his children, Patrick Blake of Wickford, RI and Linda McWhinnie of Fayetteville, NC; and his siblings, Richard Blake, Donald Blake, Elaine Blake and Muriel Allenson.
