He was predeceased by: his parent Hormidas Bessette; and his child Karen L. Stanley. He is survived by: his spouse Doris E. Bessette (Lapham); his parent Mederise Bessette (Giroux); his children, Shirley Duncan of South Attleboro, Steven Bessette and Robert Bessette; his granddaughter Krystal Vasconcelos; and his stepgranddaughter Melissa Kane. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; two step-great great grandchildren.
