Louise V. Vose Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise V. Vose (Pawtucket, Rhode Island), who passed away on November 9, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Rock P. Lariviere. She is survived by: her parent Lillian V. Lariviere (Valade).
She was a sewer and supervisor for thirty years at Healthâ€"Tex Inc., formerly the Standard Romper Company, and was also a Secretary for Union Wadding for sixteen years prior to her retirement. Louise was a member of Saint Theresa’s Church in South Attleboro, and an active member of the South Attleboro Village Lions for twenty years, serving on many committees and the Board of Directors. She was also the recipient of a Melvin Jones award and also awarded Lion of the year in 2018. An avid golfer and bowler, Louise loved NASCAR racing, yard sales, antique stores and Flea Markets. She is survived by her aunt Jeannette Lariviere, cousins Janine and Cristin Cotugno, Ernie and Kathy Barrette, friends John and Elaine Holmes, David and Cheryl Sharkey, plus many more wonderful friends. She was the sister of the late Edmond Lariviere and the former wife of the late Richard E. Vose. Calling Hours will be Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket with a Prayer Service at 4:00pm in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Louise’s memory to the South Attleboro Village Lions, P.O. box 3233, South Attleboro. MA 02703 would be greatly appreciated.
