She was predeceased by : her husband Vince; her sister Melda Secor; and her parents, Thomas Pennington and Eva Pennington. She is survived by : her children, Joseph R. Gabriel (Donna) of Portsmouth, RI, Anne C. Gabriel Giegerich of East Syracuse, Mary Beth "Betsy" Smrtic (Mark) of Westford, MA and James V. Gabriel (Patricia) of Niskayuna, NY; her brothers, James Pennington (Fran) and David Pennington; and her grandchildren, Megan, Daniel, Benjamin, Alexander, Haley, William, Michael and Nicholas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
