She was predeceased by: her husband Harley K. Simmons; her sister Betsy Spinella; and her parents, Bouke Hiddenga and Elizabeth E. Hiddenga (Olson). She is survived by: her daughters, Helen Desilets of Raleigh, NC, Christine Hall (Randy) of Uxbridge and Sharyn Sheeran (John) of Portsmouth, RI; and her stepchildren, Kim, Tracy, John, Michael, Kyle and Jill. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home (35 Snowling Rd, Uxbridge, MA 01569). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St., Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
