She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Philip Baron; her parents, Sidney Smith and Helen Smith (Rosenbluth); and her brother Samuel Smith. She is survived by: her sister Ruthie; her children, Dr. Jeffrey F. Baron (Jaqueline) of Providence, Dr. Steven H. Baron (Nelia) of Newhall, CA and Dr. Shari Sokol (Michael) of Leawood, KS; her siblings, Ruth Margolies and Jay Smith; and her grandchildren, Brian Baron, Justin Baron, Alexander Sokol, Felicia Sokol, Amanda Sokol, Veronica Baron and Gabriela Baron. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
