He was predeceased by : his wife Albina Raftery (Palumbo); his parents, John Raftery and Mildred Raftery (Doherty); his son Stephen Raftery; his son-in-law Norman Bernier; and his sister Millie Metro.
He is survived by : his children, John E. Raftery III, Theresa Bernier and Karen Kedzierski (John); and his sisters, Joan Mazza, Maureen Brooks and Patricia Lavallee. He is also survived by grandchildren and 8 dear great-grandchildren.
