She is survived by: her mother Vera Van Marx Metcalf; her husband Irving Chase Sheldon, Jr.; her children, Christopher Rhodes Sheldon and Houghton Sheldon (Glen T. Baldridge); her grandson Gibson Houghton Baldridge; her brother Stephen A. Metcalf; and her niece Krystyna Metcalf.
