It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Sugarman Wolpert of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Irving Wolpert; her parents, Robert Sugarman and Jennie Sugarman (Rudis); and her siblings, Dr. Herman Sugarman and Blossom Roodin.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Wolpert (Marlene Fishman Wolpert) of Providence and Nancy Rachman (Arnold Rachman) of Manhattan, NY; her grandsons, Michael Wolpert (Ashley) and Jonathan Wolpert (Serena); her great grandchildren, Rachel, Matthew and Olivia; her nephew Paul; and her nieces, Marjorie and Judi.
**The family has asked that anyone attending Shiva has given themselves a COVID-19 Test and had a negative result**.
