With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia M. Adams (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert R. Matzke and Helen H. Matzke; her daughters, Josephine L. Adams of Boston, MA and Eliza S. Adams of New York, NY; her husband Tom; and her siblings, Robert R. Matzke Jr. of Denver, CO, Martha K. Matzke of Washington, DC. and Jean Perkins.
Face masks are requested at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be directed to Team Porto-Trade, for the Pan-Mass Challenge bike-a-thon, in support of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
