He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Ellen Butler (Fraughton); his parents, Sherwood Butler and Florence M. Butler (Walls); and his sibling Dana. He is survived by: his children, Linda D. Silva of Riverside, Elaine M. Rankin of Riverside and Ernest N. Butler Jr. of Riverside; and his siblings, Gayle Johnson of Killingly, CT, Joyce Stephens, Dawn, Peter Butler of Riverside, Michael Butler of Maine, Gordon, Sherwood and Brian Butler. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
