It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Texeira (Riverside, Rhode Island), born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 20, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, John Teixeira of Camacha and Madeira; his siblings, John Texeira, Antone Teixeira, Mary Pedro, Joseph Teixeira of New Bedford, MA and Dolores Sardinha of Kissimmee, FL; his wife Maria Q. Teixeira of New Bedford, MA; his children, Martin T. Teixeira of Dartmouth, MA and Elizabeth A. Miller (Jeffrey C. Miller) of New Bedford, MA; and his grandchildren, Kyle J. Miller of Brockton, MA, Brooke E. Miller of New Bedford, MA and Nathan J. Miller of Taunton, MA. He is also survived by seven nieces and one nephew.
