He was predeceased by: his parent William J. Burkhardt; and his sibling Edward Burkhardt. He is survived by: his parent Adeline Burkhardt (Mazeka); his siblings, William Burkhardt of East Providence, Carol Harris of Florida, Jo-Ann Durfee of Swansea, Mary Sullivan of Pawtucket, Ann Burkhardt of East Providence, Patricia Medeiros of East Providence, Bernadette Swift of Florida and Joseph Burkhart of Pennsylvania; and his siblings' children, Lynn A. Durfee and Michael S. Durfee. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
