He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scanlan and Ethel Scanlan (Fasteson); and his son Christopher Scanlan. He is survived by: his wife Elaine M. Scanlan (Annotti); his children, Mary Beth Mascitti (Perry) of Arlington, WA, Robert J. Scanlan of Washington, DC and Stephen M. Scanlan (Lori) of Yorktown Heights, NY; his brother Kenneth N. Scanlan of Cranston; and his grandchildren, Michael, Brandon and Jenna.
