It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pearlie Bird of Rumford, Rhode Island, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on April 16, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed Mims and Mary Mims (Gaines); her children, Willie, Ronald Bird and Carolyn Mims; and her grandchildren, Rodney Granville and Ronnette Harris.

She is survived by : her son Robert Bird (Pamelia); and her grandchildren, Timothy Granville, Trevor Granville, Dawnteshia Granville (Prince Brown), Sheilita Hazard, Staisha Cornish, Robert Fayerweather and Darlene High (Lee). She is also survived by 14 Great-Grandchildren.
