She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Harold (Curry) and Richard Harold; her siblings, Gertrude, Richard and Marilyn; and her stepson William Bassett.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Bassett; her son Scott McHugh of Johnston; her stepgranddaughters, Dawn Barry, Tres-Belle and Lavender; her brother Thomas Hartley; and her stepsons, Brian (Marilyn), Darryl (Rachael) and Kevin (Larissa). She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
