He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor and Catherine; and his brother Victor. He is survived by: his wife Heather; his children, Lisa, Jon, Peter and Jane (Shawn); his grandchildren, Gianna, Nina, Peter, Emma, Mia and Nick; and his siblings, Cathy and James.
In place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Operation Stand Down RI, a cause close to Al's heart, supporting Rhode Island's homeless veterans.
